We are looking for a Back-End Developer to join our tech team in Riga, Latvia starting 01.12.2022.


YOUR TASKS
  • Build prototypes, MVPs and work on fast-paced and greenfield projects.
  • Work with other teams to improve tech stack for long-term engineering initiatives and serve-side logic integrations.
  • Help architect the high-level structure and future direction of the SaaS platform. Write maintainable, consistent high-quality code.
  • Optimise platform for scalability, low latency and high availability.
  • Perform code reviews, write automated tests, and improve CI/CD pipeline.
  • Develop high-quality solutions within established guidelines and time frames. Implement sophisticated security and data protection for our SaaS platform

YOUR PROFILE
  • 3+ years of experience as a back-end developer with Node.js within a professional environment.
  • Worked with popular frameworks and ORMs and experience in writing type-safe code with TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Built HTTP/JSON APIs following RESTful guidelines and GraphQL. Kubernetes, Docker and either AWS, Azure or GCP in a production environment.
  • Skilled in RDBMS (PostgreSQL) and noSQL Databases.
  • Ability to work efficiently with the front-end team.
  • Strong understanding of agile principles and methodologies.
  • Team working skills and a problem-solving attitude.
  • Experience working in a startup environment is a plus.
  • Proven leadership responsibilities. Motivation, integrity and creativity are key. We're looking for team players!
